Superman may be a one-dimensional superhero most of the time, but he’s a superhero beyond compare not only because of his limitless abilities, but because of the media in which he is portrayed. Countless of comic book writers have given breadth and injected more character into Supe that he’s finally relevant again (All Star Superman). The TV series Lois And Clark (featuring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher) wasn’t too shabby? The Superman movies? Awesome. I don’t really care about that Routh guy, although Returns is a pretty spiffy flick, but the late Christopher Reeve is the man.

His video games? Err…
